In 1971, just out of high school, I bought my first Land Rover—a Series IIA 88—which I still own and drive regularly.

In 1975, I joined a group of friends from Richmond and the Tidewater area of Virginia to form the Rover Owners Association of Virginia (ROAV). I remain an active member and have previously served as a board member, treasurer, and president of the club.

After a 30-year career with the Commonwealth of Virginia, I am now retired. I currently serve as a board member and president of ANARC, an honor I deeply value.
