URE! is a ONSLRS event that has gone on at Uwharrie National Forest for over 20 years. Each year we rent out the Badin Lake Campground on the 3rd weekend in October. The event itself runs from Friday to Sunday with most of the activities running on Saturday. We run group trail rides on Saturday morning that are split into multiple groups. Since they usually last all day, we then have our big group dinner in the evening, and we proceed with the raffles and highlight sponsors each year.

Registration is always $25 per vehicle. We sell dinner tickets, t-shirts, posters, metal signs, and other promo materials. With every dollar we make, we put it back into the society to offer bigger and better items to give away and to always keep our registration fees the lowest among other clubs.

In regards to accomodations, they have public bathrooms on site. You can usually pitch a tent anywhere within the campground (some areas are off limits per campground rules). The campsite can hold about 100 people. Full size RV campers and large travel trailers are not allowed within the Badin Lake Group Campground. Those will have to be set up at one of the RV specific campgrounds such as Arrowhead.
