ANARC Steward Prerequisites
1. Participant Prerequisites (Pre-Arrival Requirements)
To ensure all attendees arrive ready to maximize hands-on training time, each participant must complete the following before the event:
Requirements:
First Aid and CPR Certification
To maximize our time with our medical trainers, we are asking that all participants complete or renew their first aid/cpr certification prior to attending ANARC Stewards training. There are in person courses held in most communities inexpensively (~$55), or can be completed online (< $40).
Proof of completion required at check in.
Tread Lightly! Online Awareness Course – Complete free online course treadlightly.org/learn/online-course
SafeXtract App – The SafeXtract App is available for iPhone and Android. Though there is a nominal cost to download, it is a valuable resource we recommend all Stewards familiarize yourself with prior to arrival. There is a library of video resources included in the app that is filled with helpful safety information and tutorials that detail proper hand signals, how to perform a stuck assessment, standard vehicle recovery configurations, and more.
2. Key Resources for Pre-Event Study
